At CFDA, I had the opportunity to design and launch programs that empowered the next generation of fashion talent while driving meaningful change in the industry. I approached each initiative with a human-centered mindset, blending research and design thinking to create educational experiences that resonated with designers and partners. This strategy didn’t just inspire, it delivered results, helping secure over $6 million in annual funding from visionary organizations like Lexus, Accenture, Eileen Fisher, and the Reebok.
Building strong, collaborative relationships was at the heart of my work. I partnered with global leaders and creative brands to co-design programs, always focused on ensuring their investment translated into measurable impact. Overseeing 11 concurrent programs, I managed everything from digital campaigns and live events to budgets and timelines, making sure each experience advanced social innovation and creative entrepreneurship.
One of my favorite aspects of this role was consulting with 13 emerging and established fashion brands on business strategy, branding, and sustainability. By viewing complex challenges as opportunities for innovative design, I helped these brands rethink their supply chains and boost sustainable practices by 30%. The work was dynamic, fast-paced, and deeply rewarding, especially knowing that our collective efforts were shaping a more creative and sustainable future for fashion.
